Job Details

ROLE: Under the leadership of the General Manager, the Executive Assistant will perform administrative
duties and provide executive-level support; assist in the day-to-day operations of the Atlanta Hawks front
office and work on special projects as assigned.


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager, which will include, but not limited to
answering and filtering incoming calls, correspondence, research and schedule management
• Coordinate scheduling all aspects of travel, including: travel schedule, hotel accommodations and
transportation
• Responsible for master calendar management
• Process expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage expense approvals and invoicing
• Oversee all aspects of the team’s family room, including: access and passes, catering, childcare, game
night issues and concerns
• Assist with Lady Hawks program, including: events, budget, gifts, and all-star arrangements
• Provide game night support for all 41 home games, plus pre-season and playoffs
• Assist the Basketball Operations team
• Handle highly confidential information on a regular basis
• Assist with special projects and all other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be available to work game nights (41 home games, plus pre-season and playoffs)
• Some travel (playoff/special event travel) may be necessary
• Associates Degree required – Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ideal candidate will have 8 years related experience providing administrative support to senior
executives; additional years of experience are a plus
• Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday hours
• Excellent sense of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality a must
• Detail-minded; follow-through, thoroughness, and organization of time and work of prime
importance
• Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong computer skills with heavy experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word
and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammatical, editing and proofreading
skills
• Ability to work with a variety of individuals and not be intimidated by strong personalities
• Ability to work with internal and external clients with a positive customer service-oriented attitude
