The Senior Front End Developer will work various parts of the product/application life cycle, from concept design, to prototyping, to front and back-end production, testing and deployment. Prepares code documentation in support of program development. Performs work of moderate-to-high complexity and handles most activities under general supervision of a development and implementation team leader. The successful candidate will have significant web/application development and programming experience. Back-end / full-stack including Java, JSON and SQL database. UI/UX experience and implementation a plus.
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development/programming practices
Implementation of robust set of services and APIs to power web, mobile-based applications
Optimization of all applications for maximum speed and scalability
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling all Cavaliers Operating Co. LLC’s web and application-based platforms
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years working experience in web and mobile application development/programming
Good understanding of leading programming languages like ASP.NET, PHP, Java, Python, C, C++, C#, Perl, Ruby, Swift, etc.
A solid understanding of how web and mobile-based applications work including security, session management, and best development/deployment practices
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Data migration, transformation, and scripting
Working knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web, mobile application technologies and techniques
