Job Details

The Oklahoma City Thunder is growing and we are looking for an experienced and team-focused person to join our team of IT professionals. As the IT Systems Analyst, you will assist with the maintenance and daily administration of the company's server/network infrastructure and lead technical projects. You will work Thunder game days and assist with Tier I and II helpdesk.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff to support systems and applications at three locations

  • Install, configure, maintain and support servers, networks, and software in a production environment

  • Provide desktop, mobile, and application support across a variety of platforms

  • Follow established guidelines to set up, support, and monitor gameday and event technology

  • Document systems and processes using SharePoint and helpdesk ticketing system

  • Promote an IT Security focus for systems, endpoints, processes and staff awareness and maintain confidentiality of systems and materials

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software/network issues in typical and non-traditional IT environments

  • Perform daily system monitoring and verify scheduled tasks such as back-ups and replication

  • Independently research and self-educate on hardware, software, security, and industry trends

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality

  • Other duties as assigned

     

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS related field, or equivalent prior experience

  • 2+ years of corporate IT experience required

  • Ability to deliver a great customer service experience with reliability and enthusiasm

  • Experience configuring and administering virtual environments such as Hyper-V / VM Ware and network storage

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as routing, switching, subnetting, vlans, firewalls, dhcp, and dns

  • Well versed in Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android platforms in an enterprise environment

  • Experience performing system administration tasks including account provisioning and removal, e-mail setup, and maintenance of distribution lists, security groups, and individual system and directory permissions

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to critical issues

  • Transition seamlessly between working independently or in team environments

  • Experience writing and using scripts (PowerShell, bash) as well as prior work with software deployment tools such as PDQ deploy, SCCM, or Munki a plus

  • Experience with Office 365, Box, AWS, Azure or other cloud-based service providers is a plus

  • Technology experience in college or professional sports is beneficial

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment that may include high stress or demanding deadlines

  • Primary work location will be the Thunder corporate office located in downtown Oklahoma City

  • Physical requirements of the job may include bending, crouching, lifting and climbing stairs or ladders

  • Driver's license and reliable transportation are required as trips to other locations around the metro will be common

  • Work schedule will include office hours plus work on evenings, weekend and holidays per the Thunder home game schedule

 

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, Information Technology.
